This Privacy Policy explains how Le Café Grand Prix (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile application and related services (the “App”).

Quick summary: We collect basic account information and purchase/loyalty data to run the App. Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Clover, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We do not sell your personal information.

We aim to collect only what we need to operate the App, improve performance, and provide support.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Provide App features (orders, loyalty points, rewards, and wallet balance)
  • Process transactions and show receipts/history inside the App
  • Send service-related messages (e.g., account updates, receipts, important notices)
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests
  • Improve the App, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security
  • Detect and prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access

3. Payments, stored value, and refunds

Payment processing

Payments in the App are processed by third-party payment providers such as Clover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay (together, “Payment Providers”). We do not store full payment card numbers or payment credential details on our servers.

Your Payment Provider may collect and process information independently under its own privacy policy and terms.

Stored value (wallet) / prepaid balance

The App may allow you to add funds to a stored balance (“Wallet”) for purchases at Le Café Grand Prix. The Wallet is prepaid value intended for use within our business.

  • The Wallet is not a bank account and does not earn interest.
  • Wallet funds are generally non-transferable and are intended for purchases at Le Café Grand Prix.
  • We may show your balance and transaction history in the App for your convenience.

Refunds and account deletion

Account deletion refund rule (your requested policy):
If you request account deletion and you have remaining Wallet funds, we will refund the remaining balance by issuing a check and sending it electronically to the email address associated with your account, subject to verification and applicable requirements.

Notes: We may request information to verify your identity before issuing a refund to protect against fraud. Refund timing and eligibility may depend on transaction status, chargebacks, and applicable rules.

4. Loyalty points and expiration

The App may include a loyalty program with points (“Points”) and tier levels.

  • Points have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Points may be earned through eligible purchases and/or promotional actions.
  • Points may expire after a period of inactivity or after a defined time window, as described in the App or program terms.
  • We may adjust the program (including how Points are earned, redeemed, or expire) with notice where required.

Tip: If you want this to be crystal-clear for users (and App Store review), create a short “Loyalty & Wallet Terms” page and link it from both the App and these legal pages.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in limited cases:

  • Service providers: hosting, analytics, customer support tools, and other vendors who help us operate the App.
  • Payment Providers: to process transactions and manage Wallet funding and purchases.
  • Legal and safety: if required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect users, our business, or the public.
  • Business changes: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (information would remain subject to this Policy unless updated).

6. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You may be able to:

  • Access, update, or correct certain account information in the App
  • Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal and operational requirements)
  • Request information about Wallet balance handling during deletion (see Section 3)
  • Opt out of marketing messages (if enabled) by using in-message options or contacting us

Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution).

8. Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes may be communicated through the App or other appropriate means.
